Dictation capture:

Thuriam's medical transcription process encompasses capturing doctor's dictation using a Dictaphone or toll free dial in server (Recorded dictation will be stored as a voice file and uploaded in to our FTP server) . D ictation systems we use are available at 24x7 access and allow you to dictate from anywhere and at anytime using a cell phone or a Touch-tone phone.

We offer multiple options for dictation at your convenience which embrace PDA recording, Toll free dial up line, Digital recording.

	PDA – Doctors dictate and save their voice files on PDA. Then PDA is synced with the computer to transmit the file to the transcriptionist.
	Digital recording – Dictations are given through a digital recorder, and then the voice files are to be uploaded to the FTP server and sent for processing by the transcriptionists.
	Toll free dial up line – Dictation is given through telephone by using toll free number, the recorded voice files are sent to the transcriptionists for processing

Transcription:

In Thuriam we then convert this dictation in to digital format and store it in our secure web server. Then dictation files are given to our experienced medical transcriptionists, who interpret and transcribe the dictation in to document (text) files. Thuriam's transcriptionists use transcribing machine along with a headset and foot pedal, listen to the voice recordings of the doctors or other health care professionals and convert the voice recording in to text format.

Thuriam accomplish regular trainings to medical transcriptionist to impart knowledge about anatomy, physiology, diagnostic procedures, medicines and also in medical terminology, abbreviations.

Quality assurance:

As a next step these transcribed documents are sent to our highly experienced editors of quality assurance team. They check the documents word by word for any spelling, grammar mistakes, missed text etc. At Thuriam we have consistently maintained 98.9% accuracy. Delivery:

After completion and quality assurance we deliver the transcripts right back to you by email or directly upload it in our server so that your staff can download from it. The transcripts can be delivered in any format like MS Word, WordPerfect, PDF, etc. as you require or it can be entered in to EMR.
